Returning Policy

Customers who are not satisfied with their eyewear purchase from Zenni Optical may request a return within 30 days of delivery. To initiate a return, a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained by contacting their customer service team. Items must be returned in their original, unused condition.

For those who change their mind or make an error while ordering, Zenni offers two options:

• A one-time 100% store credit, excluding shipping fees.
• A 50% refund to the original payment method, also excluding shipping fees.

Unused accessories may be returned for either a full refund or full store credit, both excluding shipping charges. However, if the original purchase was made entirely with store credit, only 50% of the store credit amount is eligible for refund, which will be applied to the payment method used in the original transaction where the store credit was issued. In cases where a purchase was made using both store credit and a credit card, the store credit portion will be refunded as new credit, and the card portion will follow the same 50% refund or 100% store credit policy depending on the timeframe of the return.

Returns involving discounted or promotional items are only eligible for the amount actually paid. Items received through free-product promotions may be remade once at equal value, if needed.

For products with suspected manufacturing defects, customers are advised to return the glasses within the 30-day warranty period for inspection. If Zenni determines the item was produced incorrectly, they will remake it at no cost to the customer. Additionally, anti-reflective coatings and photochromic lenses are covered for defects for up to one year after delivery. Wear and tear from daily use, however, is not covered under this policy.

Contact lenses must be returned within 14 days in unopened boxes for a full refund, minus a $5 restocking fee. A prepaid return label is provided for eligible returns. Opened boxes are only accepted for exchange if they are defective or do not match the original order. Expedited and next-day shipping charges are non-refundable.

Zenni requires that returns be sent to the specific address provided with the RA number. Returned glasses must include all original components — frames, lenses, cases, and accessories. A copy of the original prescription is also required. Order confirmations or invoices are not accepted in place of the prescription copy.

Please note that Zenni Optical is not responsible for return packages lost in transit. Shipping fees are not refunded under any circumstances unless required by law. Customers are encouraged to consolidate returns into a single package to help ensure efficient processing.
