One of the Best Outdoor Gear Retailers in the World
An online and physical store, Moosejaw.com, sells clothing and equipment for outdoor sports including snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and camping.
Bill Schulman, a teacher and summer camp director, together with lifelong friends Robert Wolfe and David Jaffe decided to launch the business in 1992 instead of going into the wilderness guide business.
The “Moosejaw Madness” marketing campaign for Moosejaw is well renowned for its absurdity. Moosejaw.com has won awards from several publications, including Best of the Web by Forbes magazine, Top 50 Retailer by Internet Retailer (2007), Top 50 Retailer by Bizrate (2006), and Top 500 Retailer by Internet Retailer.
The New York Times, Outside magazine, and Chain Store Age magazine have all cited Moosejaw as a pioneer in internet marketing.

Speaking of international shipping, Moosejaw ships to most countries worldwide.
An important thing to note is that some of the brands of products listed on their site cannot be shipped outside of the US. However, there are some exceptions for Canada. For a full list of what they don’t ship outside of US and the exceptions in Canada you can see here.
For international orders Moosejaw utilizes UPS Express Saver which takes between 2-3 business days to arrive.
This does not include any duties, taxes, or other customs-related fees. You’d need to contact your local customs office for information about those potential costs.
As Moosejaw can ship to most countries around the world, the price will vary depending on the country you’ll be sending your package to, as well as the number of item(s) your purchase, along with the weight of the products too.
If a country is not listed, then unfortunately they cannot ship there.
As we mentioned, oversize and/or heavy products may require additional charges. If additional charges apply, they will email you before shipping so you can give them the go-ahead.
To keep shipping costs down, they try to combine all items into a single package. 99% of the time, this does not cause a delay and you can rely on the estimated ship dates shown on their website.
In very rare cases, this process can take a week or two, in which case the estimated shipping date on the website may be inaccurate. This is absolutely nothing to worry about, but they are just writing that to inform you of potential disruption.
Below the review is a list of all the countries they ship to and the cost of getting them delivered to your address, based in these regions.

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase you can return it at any time as long as it’s still in ‘sellable condition.’

Items that are not in sellable condition because they have been worn and/or damaged due to improper use will not be accepted for return.
Gift Cards, food items, and load-bearing climbing equipment, (harnesses, carabiners, or pretty much anything that you would use when climbing), are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
All electronic items, except for drones, must be returned within 30 days of receipt. Items such as drones and rooftop tents must be returned within 15 days of receipt.
Returns are credited to the original payment method unless received more than 60 days after the purchase date.
Returns received after 60 days are reimbursed via Moosejaw eGift Card, which is sent to the email associated with your order.
